Don’t pray for a Miracle, Instead Be One!
Every day, I
come across so many people who are desperately waiting for a miracle to happen,
which can change their life for the good in, an overnight. But there’s
something we humans got to understand and that the way Miracle happens – Yea,
It’s not God’s own hands which heals our sufferings and does some miracle,
instead he uses our own hands to undo someone’s sufferings in some way or the
other. He has no arms to hug except ours. We become a part of someone’s life
for a reason – A reason destined for us to answer someone else’s prayers.
We don’t realize
but we ourselves are the miracles (for someone) waiting to happen. Someone’s
lonely and a simple phone call from you to say “Hey, I was thinking about you”,
or “Hey, let’s catch up for a coffee” may mean a lot to the person on the other
side of the call. Maybe it was the only miracle they were looking for,
especially when they felt that they are all alone.
Everyone’s in
our life for a purpose and so are we. We should always be aware of who’s in our
life. People don’t become a part of our life by a mere coincidence. They are in
there for a purpose, a purpose which we don’t generally realize till it’s too
late to cherish. Life’s too short to cry over the past and worry about the
future. There’s restoration, there’s friendship, there’s healing inside of you.
Life becomes more exciting and adventurous when we start rewarding ourselves
and realize that maybe we are an answer, we are that miracle to someone’s
prayers.
We go to
hospitals, we see thousands of patients on the verge of dying, we pray for a
miracle to happen and yea it does happen, but how? Is it the doctors who pour
in their heart and soul to save the patients or is it someone else? Ever
realized what if the doctors only are the miracles we had been praying for?
The sole idea
for us to be here on this planet is to reach out for others, for those who are
in our need, to reach out to those who we can help irrespective of any
expectations from them. Helping someone selflessly, being a part of someone’s
life, holding someone’s hand and showing them the right path – Yes, that’s what
we are made for, and that’s what we deserve.
A fine read!
